This post is to honour the work of Nazanin Afshin-Jam, President of Stop Child Executions, opens NGO summit and reports on gross human rights violations in Iran. Geneva, 19 April 2009, eve of Durban 2.
Hear the word of God from this beautiful Iranian saint who now lives in Canada. She certainly is a Love Ambassador and a Universal Peace Ambassador, a defender of the human rights of the people of Iran. Listen to the words as she shares the truth from her heart of conscience.

"Nazanin Afshin-Jam, this dazzling gem of Iran, has a huge mission in life. As good a human being as she is and almost unnervingly nice, she is relentlessly positive, a one-person cheering section of smiles. She has elevated what it means to be an Iranian and what it means to be a child of Cyrus the Great." [1]
"Nazanin is an international human rights activist, singer/songwriter, actor, model and former Miss World Canada. After being crowned “Miss Canada.” Nazanin went on to become the First Runner-Up for “Miss World 2003.” She was runner-up to Miss Ireland, Rosanna Davison. She is also co-founder of the Stop Child Executions
organization whose aim it is to try and put a permanent end to executions of minors in Iran and abroad who are currently on death row. She has produced short documentaries, connected lawyers working pro-bono to children on death row who do not have access to proper attorneys. She is constantly informing the UN, individual governments and NGOs including Amnesty International on urgent cases of children facing execution.
“Prosperity and progress can only flourish when our human rights are a priority, where democracy and freedom of choice take precedence,” says Nazanin
Nazanin learned at an early age of the threat people face when their human rights are ignored and abused. This Persian star was born in Tehran in 1979 at the height of the so called Islamic revolution and a year later her family was forced to flee after her non-political father was arrested and tortured at the hands of the fundamentalists. Growing up in Canada after escaping an uncertain future in Iran, Nazanin knew not to take her freedom and good fortune for granted. Her conscience would not allow her to forget those who live in fear every day, in any country where people’s basic human rights are violated."

"Nazanin is also a pilot and is licensed to fly both powered aircraft and gliders and is a Squadron Commander Royal Canadian Air Cadets, holding the rank of Warrant Officer 1st class. She is fluent in three languages: Persian, English, French and also conversational Spanish.
However, her true passion is human rights. Nazanin was instrumental in saving another Nazanin (Nazanin Fatehi) in Iran.
Nazanin Fatehi was sentenced to hang for defending herself and her 15-year-old niece by stabbing one of three men who tried to rape her and her niece in Karaj in March 2005.
In the lawless jungle of the Islamic Republic, they rushed to condemn her to death rather than the rapists. She initiated a yearlong campaign to save the life of a 17-year-old girl in Iran who faced execution by hanging for having stabbed one of three men who attempted to rape her. The Save Nazanin petition collected 350, 000 signatures worldwide.
She went on tours around the globe, speaking in Stockholm, Brussels, Gothenburg and Frankfurt regarding Fatehi. She organized the creation of a documentary to raise awareness on Fatehi’s plight and created a website www.helpnazanin.com informing the public with news and of how to help. She helped raise the required $43,000 bail to release Nazanin Fatehi from prison
She spoke around the world, brought much needed attention in the United Nations and finally her arduous task bears fruit. After more than two years in jail, Nazanin Fatehi was eventually released on bail on January 31, 2007. That was a joyous moment for her and an astonishing victory for all people. Nazanin Afshin-Jam’s efforts led her to create the “stop child executions” organization."

“Some people give up in pursuing their goal when they have almost reached the end while others, on the contrary, vigorously go after the victory by hook or by crook. I will never forget that moment when she was released from prison,” says Nazanin.
Nazanin continues to address human rights abuses worldwide, in China, Burma, Darfur and other countries with tyrannical regimes and particular in relation to women and children in Iran and the Middle East. She has given speeches at the UN, EU, UK, Canadian Parliament, numerous universities and conferences with media features on CNN, BBC, CNN, Fox, Al Jazeera TV, Persian Voice of America and print stories in Glamour, Seventeen, Chatelaine, Flare, Vanity Fair magazine and newspapers worldwide.
She has received the Global Citizenship Award from the President of the University of British Columbia and the Alumni Association. She also received a “Hero Award for Human Rights” on Friday August 25, 2007 at the United Nations Headquarters in New York on the case of Nazanin Fatehi. She appeared as a guest speaker at an Amnesty International conference in Berlin a couple of years ago regarding the executions of minors in Iran. She was the guest of Honor and speaker for OnCor ‘s 10-day charity fund-raising event benefiting the Dangriga HIV/Aids Society (Belize).
Nazanin’s battle against child executions continues with the goal of halting the practice in Iran and in the handful of other countries where it still continues. Regarding “child execution” organization, she can use any help from any one who is concerned about the execution of children and minors. Thus far, she has managed to save many human lives.
On September 11, 2008, Nazanin sent out a press release stating, “The President of the Islamic Republic of Iran, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad will have to get past the Ahmadinejad Wall of Shame (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=sOsozfVI2KE) a visual display and demonstration across the United Nations Headquarters."

13th May is also the day of the UNITY gathering held in Israel in 2006. So it is a great honour to honour this Saint on the same date. A woman that is doing her utmost to bring peace to the world, exalt the children to equality and bring harmony to her homeland.

A Precious Gem waiting to be found...

Jesus said to his blessed one.
"You are a gem, a precious stone sitting amongst the golden sands. Waiting to be found, feeling shattered and spread into a million pieces. Your light IS emanating everywhere!
How can I explain to you, that which you do not understand at this point. Walk with me child, just a little further more, keep walking you will see the light. It feels like you cannot see what is ahead of thee but in your heart you know. You are the light of the world, the flame of love that purifies whatever stands in the way of complete oneness with GOD."
No one will snatch them out of my Fathers hands indeed.....There is a battle going on for the souls of humanity. However, the divine intervention is mighty indeed. You are now aware that our Father laid his first ACE card back in 2003.
THE SPIRIT OF GRACE - THE LAST DAYS
See, I will send my messenger, who will prepare the way before me. Then suddenly the Lord you are seeking will come to his temple; the messenger of the covenant, whom you desire, will come," says the LORD Almighty.
But who can endure the day of his coming? Who can stand when he appears? For he will be like a refiner's fire or a launderer's soap. He will sit as a refiner and purifier of silver; he will purify the Levites and refine them like gold and silver. Then the LORD will have men who will bring offerings in righteousness, and the offerings of Judah and Jerusalem will be acceptable to the LORD, as in days gone by, as in former years.
"So I will come near to you for judgment. I will be quick to testify against sorcerers, adulterers and perjurers, against those who defraud laborers of their wages, who oppress the widows and the fatherless, and deprive aliens of justice, but do not fear me," says the LORD Almighty. Malachi 3

DIVINE PRAISE....
Much has been said negatively in the past about praise received from the divine. One can and is praised by the divine and spiritual effort is rewarded. One is guided and one can also be reprimanded in a good way if one has the humility to be corrected by the divine. If one does not have humility before the divine then one does not receive praise either. If one is not ready to be corrected by the divine due to a lack of humility before God then one does not move any further along the spiritual pathway.
What is more valuable praise from man or praise from the divine?
"I have come in my Father's name, and you do not accept me; but if someone else comes in his own name, you will accept him. How can you believe if you accept praise from one another, yet make no effort to obtain the praise that comes from the only God?" John 5
This thread is posted with the pure intention of putting some records straight about divine praise. As God said 'The cosmos is not a one-way street".
Does divine praise exalt one?
It can be confirmation of the fact that you have passed another initiation with flying colours. It can be to inform you of what you have attained when your humility is greater than your knowing. It can also be a pat on the back for a job well done. There are many reasons for divine praise in the same way as there are many reasons why we praise our children. As we know sometimes the praising of our children is to exalt them to become their limitless potential and to encourage them to continue in their good ways. Sometimes it can be a simple thank you for doing the will of God.
Divine praise can also remind people to praise others when they do good.
"You are sacred and a treasure to behold, count your blessings as if you are counting gold". from Sacred Words

Let us hope that humanity are now ready to lay down their heads and move into their hearts, let us hope that humanity is ready to rest in peace and come together in peace. Let us hope that humanity is now ready to work together and create the Love Union ordained by God.

Discipline from God - Hebrews 12
More hope for the weary from Hebrews 12.
Endure hardship as discipline; God is treating you as sons. For what son is not disciplined by his father? If you are not disciplined (and everyone undergoes discipline), then you are illegitimate children and not true sons. Moreover, we have all had human fathers who disciplined us and we respected them for it. How much more should we submit to the Father of our spirits and live! Our fathers disciplined us for a little while as they thought best; but God disciplines us for our good, that we may share in his holiness. No discipline seems pleasant at the time, but painful. Later on, however, it produces a harvest of righteousness and peace for those who have been trained by it.
Therefore, strengthen your feeble arms and weak knees. "Make level paths for your feet," so that the lame may not be disabled, but rather healed.
Warning Against Refusing God
Make every effort to live in peace with all men and to be holy; without holiness no one will see the Lord. See to it that no one misses the grace of God and that no bitter root grows up to cause trouble and defile many. See that no one is sexually immoral, or is godless like Esau, who for a single meal sold his inheritance rights as the oldest son. Afterward, as you know, when he wanted to inherit this blessing, he was rejected. He could bring about no change of mind, though he sought the blessing with tears.
You have not come to a mountain that can be touched and that is burning with fire; to darkness, gloom and storm; to a trumpet blast or to such a voice speaking words that those who heard it begged that no further word be spoken to them, because they could not bear what was commanded: "If even an animal touches the mountain, it must be stoned."The sight was so terrifying that Moses said, "I am trembling with fear."
The original word fear meant awe not as it is understood today. In awe of the wonder of God.
But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, to the church (the word church meant community) of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven.
THE CHRIST VISION
You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect, to Jesus the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.
See to it that you do not refuse him who speaks. If they did not escape when they refused him who warned them on earth, how much less will we, if we turn away from him who warns us from heaven? At that time his voice shook the earth, but now he has promised, "Once more I will shake not only the earth but also the heavens."
Abba certainly is shaking the earth and the heavens...
The words "once more" indicate the removing of what can be shaken—that is, created things—so that what cannot be shaken may remain. Therefore, since we are receiving a kingdom that cannot be shaken, let us be thankful, and so worship God acceptably with reverence and awe, for our "God is a consuming fire." Hebrews 12

The Righteous Servant
Prophet Isaiah spoke a lot about the righteous servant of the LORD. As it is recorded in Isaiah 53
"He had no beauty or majesty to attract us to him, nothing in his appearance that we should desire him."
How can the one spoken about by Prophet Isaiah be Jesus when he did/does have majesty, a wonderful appearance and people did/do desire him?
"Who then is the faithful and wise servant, whom the master has put in charge of the servants in his household to give them their food at the proper time?" Matt 24:44-45
The Dead Sea Scrolls scholar, Geza Vermes wrote about a divine guide that would be sent to Israel in the last days. “ The scrolls speak of a divine guide sent to Israel in the final days, no doubt identical with 'The Prophet' spoken about by God to Moses. I will raise up for them a prophet like you. He shall convey all my commands to them. The Messianic Prophet was to teach the truth revealed on the eve of the establishment of the Kingdom. it would follow that his part was to all intents and purposes the same as that attributed by the Qumran mystics to the Teacher of Righteousness. In the Resurrection fragment it describes God in the age of the Messiah as healing the wounded and reviving the (spiritually) dead.”

"The servant of God experiences the existential gap between his thoughts and deeds. Often he is unable to realize his inner intentions. Other times he is surprised by unexpected success. In both cases he feels the hand of God directing his deeds. The gap is the experience of the Divine Nothing, the source of all Creation in deed: something from nothing.
We have now reached the culmination of the sequence represented by the three letters gimmel, dalet, and hei, the process of giving of oneself to another. The gift, represented by the foot, the unattached segment of hei, when fully integrated in the receiver, becomes his own power of action and giving of himself to others. Even more, now he fully realizes that the ultimate effect and potency of his deeds are in truth the act of Divine Providence."
