Behind the Scenes

Time for a light touch...

Listening to Enya talking about her work reminded me of the time that my son and I spent in Australia 1998-1999. The year that we gave up everything. Our home, possessions, assets, family and career to serve God.

It reminded me of how the wonderful spiritual people embraced, accepted and in so doing inspired this person to stand up and be empowered to give testimony of divine experiences.

The spiritual people that we came in contact with in Sydney were the most non-judgemental people that we have ever met in any country.

It was a glorious year and I thanked God daily as I swam in the beautiful ocean. Australia is definitely one of my spiritual homes and I have very fond memories of everyone that I was blessed to meet, help and work with.

A multi-cultural society that loves to celebrate; it matters not whether it is the Queen's Birthday, Buddha's Birthday, Chinese New Year, St Patricks Day they celebrate them all. Any excuse for a party!

In Darling Harbour the exotic birds come to scavenge and Jordan's FIsh restaurant was the best in the land. We travelled as far north as Byron Bay and then had to return to Sydney because my son was requiring some stability in his early teenage years being far away from what he knew as home. He wasn't ready to be a serious traveller. Mum put her son first and trusted that the will of the child was also the will of God.

It was during the trip to Australia that the Holy Mother came again calling me for a mission of compassion with the children and her Son Jesus Christ appeared before me.

Events that would change our lives forever.

Ten years later Africa is calling.

Music by Enya - The first part of the music is the song "Book of Days" which forms part of the sound track for the movie "Far and Away".

One could call this blog a book of life filled with life experiences, places, people and divine intervention.

Spring is here, the Spring Collections

Spring 2009 and a different world.

Looks like Purple is back....

THE ART OF FASHION

For the LORD your God is bringing you into a good land—a land with streams and pools of water, with springs flowing in the valleys and hills. Deut 8:6-8

Faithfulness springs forth from the earth, and righteousness looks down from heaven.Psalm 85:10-12 He makes springs pour water into the ravines; it flows between the mountains.Psalm 104:9-11

The burning sand will become a pool, the thirsty ground bubbling springs. In the haunts where jackals once lay, grass and reeds and papyrus will grow. Isaiah 35:6-8

See, I am doing a new thing! Now it springs up; do you not perceive it? I am making a way in the desert and streams in the wasteland. Isaiah 43:18-20 "

You heavens above, rain down righteousness; let the clouds shower it down. Let the earth open wide, let salvation spring up, let righteousness grow with it; I, the LORD, have created it. Isaiah 45:7-9

Younger than Springtime

For as the soil makes the sprout come up and a garden causes seeds to grow, so the Sovereign LORD will make righteousness and praise spring up before all nations. Isaiah 61:10-11

Let us acknowledge the LORD; let us press on to acknowledge him. As surely as the sun rises, he will appear; he will come to us like the winter rains, like the spring rains that water the earth." Hosea 6:2-4

Can both fresh water and salt water flow from the same spring? James 3:10-12

For the Lamb at the center of the throne will be their shepherd; he will lead them to springs of living water. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes."Revelation 7:16-17

Dear Kim!
This post happened to be one of the most appealing to me as you devoted much attention to Music. That is a phenomenon thw power of which is impossible to overestimate. And Mandy Patinkin is a real revelation to me -- he is not well known in our land. After his touching "Younger than springtime" I listened to "Children will listen". It should be smth like a teaching:) hymn not only foк teachers and parents but for every grown-up, keeping in mind the inner child...
Thank you for sharing

Hello blessed one yes that is the first time that I have heard this lovely singer. I have heard Barbara Streisland sing "Children will Listen" and I look forward to hearing the other version.

His voice certainly moved me and it was good to listen to him a few times.

For those that have not heard Mandy Patinkin's version.
