CHURCH 200 YEARS BEHIND THE TIMES

The BBC report that Cardinal Carlo Martini said that the Roman Catholic 'Church is 200 years behind the times'. In his last interview the 85 year old said 'The Church is tired..our prayer rooms are empty'. The Cardinal died on Friday following Parkinson's Disease.

"Catholics lacked confidence in the Church, he said in the interview. "Our culture has grown old, our churches are big and empty and the church bureaucracy rises up, our religious rites and the vestments we wear are pompous."
'The advice he leaves behind to conquer the tiredness of the Church was a "radical transformation, beginning with the Pope and his bishops".

Well it would not matter if they changed the Pope and the bishops, it would not matter how they transformed the Church, it still would not fill their prayer rooms because scripture is clearly against it. In the NT Jesus Christ informed his followers to pray in secret and alone behind a closed door and to pray to the heavenly Father, not to himself.

As I have said many times, Rome has passed its sell-by-date.

999 in 2007, was the beginning of the end of its life cycle and Islam is no different.
