John Ankerberg 'Son of Man, Debunked'

John Ankerberg claims that Jesus was the 'Son of Man' mentioned in Daniel 7. However, the criteria of the prophecy provided by Daniel proves otherwise. One of the most important of which is the fact that the 'Son of Man' is led into the presence of the ancient of days. Is there any mention in the gospels regarding Jesus being led into his presence? No.

In addition, the other important criteria is the fact that the anointed one does not have any apostles in Daniel. The book of Daniel informs you that there was only one man that stood at the side of the anointed one against the Prince of Persia, and his name was Michael. It also mentions the Prince of Greece that came afterwards.

Is there any mention of a man named Michael being at the side of Jesus against the leader of Persia? No. Is there any mention of a Prince of Greece coming to see Jesus? No. Was Persia standing against Israel 2,000 years ago? Wasn't Israel part of the Roman empire at that point?

Iran stands against Israel now. Hence, why the Prince of Persia is mentioned, it was a prophecy about the future not 2,000 years ago. In fact, Daniel was told that the books were sealed until the end. It wasn't the end in the time of Jesus; because the gospels tell you that Jesus gave predictions about what would happen in the future and the prophecies related to the end.

Last but not least the text states that the person is 'LIKE THE SON OF MAN'. In other words, not exactly the same. Is that because it is a female body? The term 'Son of Man' is a term of endearment for a prophet. That is why both Daniel and Ezekiel were also referred to as 'Son of Man'.

So how can Jesus be the one mentioned in the book of Daniel?

Here is the text to prove the point.

“In my vision at night I looked, and there before me was one likeson of man, coming with the clouds of heaven. He approached the Ancient of Days and was led into his presence. Daniel 7:13

"So he said, “Do you know why I have come to you? Soon I will return to fight against the prince of Persia, and when I go, the prince of Greece will come;  but first I will tell you what is written in the Book of Truth. (No one supports me against them except Michael, your prince." Dan 20-21

Michael defended Israel passionately at my side, he was the only one that did so in the public domain.
The prince of Greece did come exactly has the prophecy predicted in 2010.

Now the timeline, 'the time of the end'.

"As he came near the place where I was standing, I was terrified and fell prostrate. “Son of man,” he said to me, “understand that the vision concerns the time of the end.” Dan 8:17

John Ankerberg your hypothesis has been 'debunked' by both the scripture itself, in addition to my own life experience of it. You also mention Psalm 110 so let us look at that as well. The prophecy mentions a key word the 'mighty sceptre extended from ZION'.

Genesis 49:10 Tells you that the scepter will be removed from Judah when the person that it belongs to comes. Micah 4 tells you about the LORD's plan for the last days of the end times, and it tells you about daughter Zion who went to Babylon (USA) and was rescued. Daughter Zion was told to 'Arise and Thresh' and threshing proposals from John Ankerberg is what he is receiving in this post.

The word 'ARISE' in Hebrew tells you her name. It is the same Hebrew word that is mentioned in the book of Deuteronomy about the prophet that would come. The Hebrew word can also mean 'to raise up', 'to rise', it also forms part of the name ELIAKIM. The name is the important part of the prophecies, and yes, I do have the birth certificate.

ELIAKIM
