CROCUS
Crocuses are native to woodland like blue bells. It is written that the name comes from Greek, Krokus, and that it could be a loan word from a semitic language, related to Hebrew, Karkum. Aramaic, Kurkama. In Persian and Arabic Kurkum, which means saffron, or saffron yellow. In Sanscrit, Kunkumam. Ancient frescos of the flower are found at Knossos on Crete. I was once blessed to visit Knossos and go to Crete a few times with friends. They have also been found at an ancient site in Santorini, another Greek Island.
No surprise then that my name can be found in the Hebrew, and the crocus comes in many different colors. The spice saffron is obtained from the plant. I see that now is a good time to eat saffron and to receive its healing energies. I love to see the crocus bursting through the snow in winter time. Often you see fields of them and they always bring a smile to my face; because I know that the daffodil soon comes. The crocus is such a sweet little flower, fragile, yet very powerful. Not to be underestimated.
The Daily Telegraph share with us that Saffron has traditionally been used to improve blood circulation and used as a cure for bruises by the Chinese. The active ingredient Crocetin may also lower blood cholesterol and triglycerides in the body and help in the treatment of atherosclerosis and arthritis.
Antioxidant Action. Safranal, a constituent of saffron, is a good antioxidant and free radical scavenger.
Eye care
Studies show that saffron improves vision and is an effectual weapon to prevent age-related macular degeneration (AMD), which is the commonest cause of blindness in the elderly.
No coincidence then that apart from ESME and her leg ulcer, another friend's mother is having eye sight problems and has fractured her foot. Did Jesus use saffron on the eyes?I like to cook with tumeric and add it to saute potato's and rice. You can be inventive with the spices that are good for you. One can also buy Saffron tea and some say it is good for depression. Is that the vibrational medicine that Nostradamus used when he spoke about the iris that would not be seen for 40 years, and after 40 years they could be seen everyday?
'Saffron contains a number of carotenoids which are believed to be largely responsible for a number of saffron's health benefits, including inhibiting skin tumors, improving arthritis and improving eye and vision health. In a recent trial, every participant who took saffron had vision improvements and researchers said the aromatic herb "may hold the key to preventing the loss of sight in the elderly". Notably, saffron has been reported to significantly help vision in the instance of cataracts.' [3]
Then today, a video was brought forth for my attention. This video was uploaded on the 14th of June, 2012. The 45 minute TV documentary is called ‘The book that can’t be read’. Code breakers try to read the code and the manuscript is full of drawings and pictures.

The book includes paintings of botanicals and herbals; and mentions aspects that I have been involved in. My attention was brought to the spices in 2002, ( although I had been eating them for years) and when we were divinely blessed to go back to Egypt in ancient times to retrieve information. I was taken to retrieve the benefits of spices in the healing process. It was a specific date in time, if my memory serves me well, it was the 2nd of the 2nd month, in 2002. A dear friend still has the information that we were given at that time, and I have asked her to find it for me. There were about four- six of us on that workshop that evening, although I cannot remember the names of everyone that attended.
The bible also spoke of people saying that they can’t read it. For you this whole vision is nothing but words sealed in a scroll. And if you give the scroll to someone who can read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I can’t; it is sealed.”Isaiah 29:11 Or if you give the scroll to someone who cannot read, and say, “Read this, please,” they will answer, “I don’t know how to read.”
In that day, the deaf will hear the words of the scroll, and out of gloom and darkness the eyes of the blind will see.
Isaiah 29 speaks about the defender being ensnared in court, and with false testimony they deprived the innocent of justice. That happened to yours truly in January 2011. The prosecutor gave a ‘false testimony’ about me before the eyes of the LORD God. Then our town was flooded on that day, the LORD God responded to it. Has he always does if anyone stands against his defender, his righteous one.
Isaiah 29, also mentions the redemption of Abraham, and Abraham was an Egyptian friend of mine that now lives in Egypt. They will acknowledge the holiness of the Holy One of Jacob, and will stand in awe of the elohim of Israel. Those who are wayward in spirit will gain understanding; those who complain will accept instruction.
The LORD God said to his righteous one, 'They think they can override you, but they can't'.
