Tramps and Homeless

All evening I have been given the smell of 'tramps' and that is to do with the homeless. That then links into the 'Adopt A Stranger' campaign launched in 2008.

They have taken Will in on a section again as well, he doesn't know when they are going to let him out.

It seems he jumped out of the window and was trying to escape his tiny space.

Just like the people were jumping out of the 9/11 building due to what was happening to them. A reality forced upon them.

How many tramps are there in NYC? How many tramps are there in every city in every country and nation?

As we know the weather is very cold indeed and the tramps require all the help that you can give them.

Warm blankets, hot soup, money, you could even take one home with you, so that they can spend a night in the warm, a hot bath and a decent meal. Help them to get cleaned up, if they're willing to accept your help. If Grandma Sophia found them in the market she used to take them home for tea and cake.

ROSIE THE TRAMP

There was a famous one in Soho, London when I was young. He was known by all the market traders and actors and actresses that lived and or worked in the area. They gave him the most incredible send off when he died. You would've thought he was royalty by the numbers of funeral cars and flowers that went through the West End. It was a funeral fit for a King.

He would take the fruit from the stalls of the market traders and his name was 'Rosie'. He was a small, rounded, gay tramp with rosy cheeks. When the stall holder who sold flowers wasn't looking, he would take some flowers and then give them to Mum. Mum always used to talk to him and make a fuss of him, when she and I worked in Soho in a kitchen shop. I didn't catch a glimpse of him very often, as I only worked there on Saturdays and/or if I was walking through or buying something from the market.

Did you see the film 'Pass it forward' and how the lady became a tramp? It took a child to knock some sense into the adults. Hence the importance of listening to the children, they see things so clearly.

Love to William at this time, I hold him and the people that are in hospital with him in my heart. At least they are in a warm place with hot food, fruit and drinks. A garden to walk in for solace. As we shared the other day, Will is an outstanding achievement that he can go there, sing his songs and play his guitar to other patients in there. I am sure he brings a smile to their face and brings warmth to their hearts. To know that they have a friend in this world that cares fully about them.

Let us hold all of those that are homeless or tramps at this time in our heart. Surround them with the warmth of our love. Let us say a prayer to the LORD for them, that he will raise them up and help them to change their reality if they choose it for themselves.
