Well as anger is the biggest predictor of heart disease, that accounts for a lot of healing work that has been done in this country. As healers, we know that when people heal themselves, it also impacts on their nation.
Oxford University claim that the death rate from heart disease has dropped by 50 per cent in just ten years, and there have been fewer heart attacks. It also aligns with the timeline of when people were more involved in social networking on the internet. More people able to express what they feel, as such they were not holding it within themselves. Self-expression is essential for good health.
The mind, body spirit explosion really took off in the UK during the 80's and the Daily Mail were one of the first newspapers to embrace it with an eight page supplement. It boosted their circulation a few decades ago. In addition, the self-healing, self-development publishing industry took off at the same time and that got people reading again. At the same time the healing workshops and seminars were attracting a lot of attention and participants.
One can say that there are certainly a lot of people in the UK healing themselves. Mind, body, and spirit exhibitions were held throughout the country, healing centres opened up everywhere, complimentary medicine was taught in colleges and therapists became so numerous, it became difficult for the general public to choose what was best for a specific condition. The medical profession were not offering the cures, so the people turned to alternatives. It was then proven by the medical profession themselves; that more people turn to alternative treatments and practitioners, and they see them more frequently than their own GP's. In many cases the local GP's became superfluous, yet they're still getting paid for what they do not do.
Reiki healing also spread like wildfire and there was nothing that could stand in its way. Reiki healing is great for healing the heart. It also enables people to be able to give healing to the self on a daily basis. Many trained in Reiki for their own self-healing and spiritual development. Others went onto to become practitioners and some went on to teach it. The healing power of the love energy in recent decades cannot be underestimated.
Also many Christians are not aware that what happens on a Reiki healing training course is actually mentioned in the bible. Yet, the America Church speaks against Reiki because they do not understand their own scriptures and how it relates to this Buddhist healing art from Japan. No surprise that in this land of Joseph, Reiki healing was on the menu for those that wished to walk the highway of holiness.
In my experience Reiki is also a path of enlightenment. However, integrity is essential and high standards. We certainly did raise the bar in our county and Reiki helped many people to raise their own bar. Yes, you really can heal yourselves was the message, and you are truly blessed to be healers.
One of the main principles of Reiki is 'Just for today do not anger' and that is exactly what Jesus Christ taught as well. Its no surprise then that he was seen appearing to people on Reiki healing training courses. Even pagans were surprised that he and his mother appeared before them, because they were the last people that they wished to see. That used to make me smile, to see their faces, and hear them say 'He really does exist'.
