It was on the Valentines Day that the LORD said 'New YORK Post'. [1] New York is in the news today and this time it is about how the 'New York Times Rejects Faith-Based Films'. The article focusses on a Liberal journalist Jeannette Catsoulis and her response to a pro-life movie 'October Baby'. [2]
First of all it begs the question, why is there a battle going on between the media and the faith of the nation that most Americans claim to be Christian? Why do Liberal Democrats react when the matter of pro-life comes into the spotlight in front of young cinema audiences? Do they write in such a way about the movies that support murder and killing like Obama was involved in Libya? Or are they very selective about life in general?
Film critic, Jeannette Catsoulis accuses the movie makers of communicating in a language of 'guilt' and 'fear'. I am sure that isn't the case, and that the movie of such a sensitive subject matter, was handled sensitively. Hence, why Jeannette has reacted instead of responding.
The film clearly touched her nerve. So did Jeannette have an abortion? How many did she have? I know one woman that had nine abortions and then when she chose to have a child the doctors told her she could no longer get pregnant.
I also know a Catholic woman that had three abortions during the years I knew her. Abortions that could have been avoided had she taken my advice on board. This woman had no intention of having children. Prior to her getting pregnant, I used to see a baby in her aura and I would warn her that a baby was waiting to come in, and to be extra careful with contraception.
Does Jeannette understand such realities, and how the souls of children choose their parents pre-incarnation and pre-destination? Or is she like Obama who views unplanned parenthood as a 'punishment?'. Does she embrace and support the throwaway society that has evolved from an hedonistic American Liberal culture? Let's just throw them in the trash shall we, like the plastic packaging that you fill your rivers with. Let's not educate and inform in a creative way.
No Jeannette, a child is not made like the American breast implants, do you have them or are you all natural? When I was in the USA, 50% of the women that I met had breast implants.
Children are the supreme joy of human life, they are not a fashion accessory for Hollywood either, although they appear to be viewed as designer babies. All can be created in a test tube, all can be genetically modified. Its becoming a clone culture and it has been exposed that some abortion clinics have been selective on what gender they abort as well. How do you feel about that? Aborting girls and keeping the boys?
In response to the Oscar winning film, for best Actress, 'Iron Lady', featuring the story of Maggie Thatcher, she wrote this about British women "Even when we loathed her policies, we could not help but long for her spine.'
Well Jeannette, some of us British women that live on this land of Joseph, do have a spine, a spine strong enough to take responsibility and give birth to a child. A spine strong enough to advise other women to think very carefully before aborting a child, due to the huge impact that it has on them for the rest of their lives.
I also have the spine to support the right of the mother to have the choice of what happens to her body, that is also pro-life, pro-life for the woman. However, I can never ever condone multiple abortions that exist today. If people do not wish to have any children then there are options, sterilisation.
Contraception is a serious issue due to the vast implications. Have you looked into how the American corporations sell banned contraception products to the 3rd world? Have you reported on that Jeannette? Is that not more important then writing about a film that can help young people to take sexual relations and making love more seriously?
It should be noted that Jeannette is a Scot, and not from England, we are different, and as we know the battle between the Catholics and Protestants in Scotland has a long history. [3] In the same way that it does in Ireland. Is that what this is really about Jeannette?
I have read the full article that you wrote about the 'Iron Lady' and it was very well written. Clearly, your creative talent is being aborted by being a film critic for the New York Times, you really are worth so much more. An asset to humanity when you value yourself, as much as you value an unborn child.
Let us encourage children to be pro-life, by being pro-life ourselves. Let us help children to understand the consequences of their actions in thoughts, words and deeds. There is a middle path and multiple abortions is not one of them.
Teshuvah Jeannette, teshuvah
