THERE IS A NEW DAWN ON THE HORIZON, NO WARS WILL STOP THE ANGELS SINGING

"Our children do not understand brothers taking up arms against others, they look bewildered and ask their parents why is there a war? My heart goes out to these little ones, so evolved, so pure of heart filled with compassion. I was just a teenager during the Vietnam war, the memories I have are of something remote. The memories embedded with the image of Americans putting flowers in the mouths of guns. Singing treasured folk songs for peace and wearing flowers around my neck and bells on my toes. At five years old, I remember sitting on my fathers shoulders on ‘Ban the Bomb’ marches through central London in the 1950’s.

This time it is different, the children are involved, it feels like its happening in their front garden, so close to home. Their souls cry out to be heard, they carry the pain for the whole human family. However, can we explain to them that which they do not understand?

When Mother Mary came with tears rolling down her cheeks I knew that the war in Iraq was about to begin and great sadness filled my heart. After the war began she came again with her son and they said “There is a new dawn on the horizon, out of the darkness will come the light". Change is imperative for this new dawn to appear to ensure that history never repeats itself again. We, you and I are the hope, faith, love and light that can ensure the new dawn brings in the golden age for our children.

The needs of the children are essential and I trust that we will change the face of humanity so that they no longer feel let down by health, education and society. These angels have been sent to us, to show us that we cannot continue to live this way. The powerful versus the disempowered and the consumption of pollution. My father taught me that the power is with the people when they are united.

Let us choose freedom in this present moment, let us unite in love, hope and compassion and ensure that the crimes against humanity never happen again. Let the children show us the way forward allowing their divine wisdom to be revealed. Let us honour our brothers and sisters and be united for positive change. Let us view the new horizon with joy in our hearts while we pray for peace, until the sun comes up again. Let us develop strategies of change so that our children never witness this again.: Written and published in March 2003.

WORLDS CHILDREN PEACE DAY PLEDGE

Worlds Children Peace Day Pledge
World Peace Congress
Lake Maggiori, Italy

"We, the youth of the world, find the rise of violence and social injustice in our current societies to be contrary to our precepts. On the concept of a sustainable Culture of Peace on Earth, without looking for political platforms, nor to sway people to follow a certain way of life, we see a goal of non-violence and freedom as an attainable basic human right for all in our Future.

Whereas:

"We pledge to urge global, national, state, local governments and families of the human race to pursue human rights laws, conflict resolution, and civil liberties that ensures peace in our communities and promote this as such as our unalienable human right and with these conscious efforts. We pledge to strive to prevent war and institute peace on a personal, local and global level with non-violence and peace as our organizing principle in our societies towards freedom."

Violence disempowers the soul and vexes the Spirit of God. Mother earth is responding to the violence that is continually threatening the existence of humanity.

May the light of God and his legions of light prevail...

Love with honour

Thank you
