The Chips Are Down......

There is no time left now to wake people up. As we were writing those words Abba said "The Chips Are Down".

As we know poker chips are purchased when people gamble in casino's and there is certainly a lot of people gambling on win or lose. It does beg the question why do people gamble with their lives? People have bought many chips and depending what cards they choose to pick up now will determine whether they win or lose.

"When the chips are down" is also an expression that means that the situation is very important indeed. All to lose and all to gain. In Italy poker chips are called 'fiche' and pronounced as fish. [1] Life is not a poker game but how much time do people invest in that form of entertainment. So who is playing poker for entertainment and gambling with their own lives at the same time? My family taught us to never gamble unless we could afford to lose because at the end of the day the casino owner will always win.

The history of poker is up for debate. However, interesting that the countries Germany and Persia are mentioned in its early history. What does that tell us? Nazi Germany and Islam worked together in WW2.

Who are the greatest gamblers in the world? The USA.

Anyone that gambles is captive of an earthly reality. Gambling is like a drug to weak spirits, they are easily addicted. We find risk takers in many aspects of human life. However, gambling is not the way to lead a good life. Religious people might like to ask themselves what are they doing in a casino? How did the USA become the gambling centre of the world? Dig deep for the root causes of the core issues that are required to be solved in your society.

The words in the bible are very clear about the captives.

"I, the LORD, have called you in righteousness; I will take hold of your hand. I will keep you and will make you to be a covenant for the people and a light for the Gentiles, to open eyes that are blind, to free captives from prison and to release from the dungeon those who sit in darkness. "I am the LORD; that is my name! I will not give my glory to another or my praise to idols.Isaiah 42:6-8

"To say to the captives, 'Come out,' and to those in darkness, 'Be free!' "They will feed beside the roads and find pasture on every barren hill. They will neither hunger nor thirst, nor will the desert heat or the sun beat upon them. He who has compassion on them will guide them and lead them beside springs of water." Isaiah 49:9

See to it that no one takes you captive through hollow and deceptive philosophy, which depends on human tradition and the basic principles of this world rather than on Christ.Colossians 2:8 But this is what the LORD says: "Yes, captives will be taken from warriors, and plunder retrieved from the fierce; I will contend with those who contend with you, and your children I will save." Isaiah 49:25

Those who oppose him he must gently instruct, in the hope that God will grant them repentance leading them to a knowledge of the truth, and that they will come to their senses and escape from the trap of the devil, who has taken them captive to do his will. 2 Timothy 2:25-26

The only way to get rid of the casino owner is not play the game. Don't invest on the stock markets, don't gamble in anyway!

Time to choose the sacred union with the divine and not dance with those that wish to keep you in captivity. The best advice we can give you is to cash in the chips, don't gamble, don't go to the casino, don't play the fool's game.
