Moral of the Baker

In the last couple of weeks God mentioned the 'Baker' and the baker is mentioned in the story of Joseph. The brothers of Joseph were jealous of him because his Father favored him with the coat of many colours. He was an excellent interpreter of dreams,  a good interpreter of dreams and visions with the divine inspiration of God is also a good interpreter of the law.

After Joseph was sold as a slave he was forced to live in the land of Egypt. While doing his utmost to serve God and do what was right, he was falsely accused and thrown into prison.

Yet, Joseph never complained and continued to be merciful in the grace of God's heart. Such a gentle soul of sheer compassion and unconditional love. It did not matter what happened to Joseph he continued to love God beyond measure. He was an unfettered flame of God's love and was righteous in thought, word and deed.

Whatever Joseph did hand in hand with God, it did prosper.

The King of Egypt threw two of his servants in prison with Joseph one of these was the one known as the baker. Both the Butler and the Baker had dreams that they could not understand and Joseph was blessed to interpret them.

Joseph asked for one thing in return that the Baker honour him as the one that interpreted the dream.

The Baker was given his job back and was allowed to serve at the feast. However, he was so busy he forgot to mention Joseph to the King who was still in prison.

"The Lord was with Joseph, and shewed him mercy" Genesis 39:21

MORAL OF THE STORY

So what is the moral of the story of Joseph and the Baker in this context?

It is about honor and having the humility and integrity to tell the truth. It is about honoring those that have helped you and speaking their name to the King.

Its about never being too busy to exalt those that have helped you and let their name be known and that links in with our forget-me-not post on the ChristVisonofPeaceblog.[1]

We have the same principle in Reiki, to always honour your teachers and elders who have helped you.

We have helped many people in recent decades, do they speak the name to God?

Do they tell others of the good works or are they like the Baker that does not give Joseph the credit? Do others take the credit for your work and effort? Do people take the credit for divine teachings given by the divine? If they do the Christ said they get displaced.

Many years ago the Christ said

"People that live in their heads instead of their hearts have stolen your work, we are pleased that it is no concern for you, you know that there is plenty more from whence it comes, victory is yours, keep on riding forward, while others are displaced they cannot catch you up". from Sacred Words...

This is a reminder to those that read this blog that nothing is hidden from God.

Make sure you live in integrity, honour others and become noble in holiness.

Is it too much to ask humanity to live in integrity and walk the path straight and upright?

In integrity one ascends and becomes holy on the path home to God.

Remember this love without integrity is like an ocean without fish, a library without books, a house without windows and a shell of love without a pearl of wisdom.

May God bless everyone with integrity beyond measure so that they can honour him and his holy ones in the right place at the right time.

I have just looked at the date in numerology and it is the 'Day of Truth'. [2]

How amazing is that?

The date is also 923 and 923 is the sum of: Mercy, Peace, Path, Remnant, Right, Lead, Justify.

And the priest shall burn it upon the altar: it is the food of the offering made by fire unto the LORD.

Hear, O LORD, and have mercy upon me: LORD, be thou my helper.
