Wicked Priest -v- Teacher of Righteousness

There is an interesting correlation between the wicked priest and the teacher of righteousness with revelation chapter 12. I can tell you truly that the 1260 days is over for the woman mentioned in chapter 12. However, there is also another turn in the story of the divine plan that has been revealed.

In the Dead Sea Scrolls it talks about the wicked priest that stands against the teacher of righteousness and the renowned DSS scholar Geza Vermes provided further information about this situation. Geza wrote that the identity of the teacher of righteousness is not clear in the texts and he gave his feedback about the theories of biblical scholars in regard to the two people mentioned in the DSS. I can assure you that Jesus Christ was not the wicked priest.

Geza wrote "In my opinion all these theories fail the basic credibility test: they do not spring from, but are foisted on, the texts." He cites the names of a few well known scholars in this respect including Allegro and Thiering to name just a couple. Of course Geza Vermes is correct because the other aspect is the timeline; and prophet Habakkuk was engaged in providing a message about the end of the last days that we are in now.

The scrolls mentions the two factions and those that are sympathizers with the wicked priest who is also called a 'Liar' and how the 'Liar' gained the upper hand for a short time. Even in the place of exile the teacher of righteousness is still harassed by those that stand in opposition to the true one sent from God; this is like a repeat of revelation chapter 12. However, in this case the person stands against Israel and not just the person that is defending Israel as was the case during the 1260 days.

The wicked priest is called by many names and it is written that there are many that are said to be the wicked of Ephraim (e.g. originating from Christianity) they seek/will seek to lay hands on the true High Priest and the people of their council. However, the scriptures denote that God will redeem them from the hand of the wicked priest. In the war scroll it also talks about the two sides being equally matched and only through the divine intervention do the Sons of Light overcome the Sons of Darkness in the last days.

During the ministry of the teacher of righteousness it is written that there is one known as a "Scoffer", "Liar', the "Spouter of Lies", otherwise called the wicked priest that stands against the true teacher sent from God (1.QpHab, 4QpPs,cd). Geza states that the wicked priest also stands against Israel, "when the Scoffer arose who shed over Israel the waters of lies".

The "Wicked Priest" is also called by the name of "TRUTH' (1QpHabviii,8-9). Geza shares that at the outset of the career of the 'wicked priest' the inference is that he changes from truth into a 'Liar". This person, the one that calls himself truth defiles the temple of God. The wicked priest was originally a high priest and was victorious over his adversaries until he assumed a position where he did not belong. However, the real change occurs when the Teacher of Righteousness sent by God arrives on the scene.

Its interesting to note that in the last two years one of the people that has stood against this one sent in the name of the LORD have used the name 'Hard Truth" as their avatar, and his friend calls himself 'Faithful and True". Both of these people stand against the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob, they both stand against Israel passionately and relentlessly.

It is clear from the texts that the "Wicked Priest" stands against the 'Teacher of Righteousness'. So we must also make clear what the term "Wicked" means in biblical terms and biblical times.

There are various words in Hebrew to describe the different aspects of being wicked. However, to summarise them the term wicked was used mainly to denote those that did not live in harmony with the spiritual law of God. Those that judge others without the authority to do so and those that harm the creation of God; that includes mother nature in all of its aspects. In other words they are in transgression of the cosmic law.

Time for a musical interlude by the RIGHTEOUS BROTHERS

Dikaiosune in Greek means righteousness. Strongs number 1343. In a broad sense it is the state of perfect being righteousness, a condition that is acceptable to God. Integrity, virtue, purity of life, rightness, correctness of thinking feeling, and acting in justice of the pure virtue and ethical morality of God. The word comes from the root of righteous, observing divine laws.

Jeff Benner from the ancient hebrew research centre always has an interesting view to share so here is his view from the Hebrew meaning of righteousness.

The Tsiytsiyt and the Sun of Righteousness

The four corners e.g. the four directions makes a lot of sense in healing, astrological and astronomical terms. The four corners are these:

EAST - Archangel Michael - Archangel of the Teachers
WEST - Archangel Uriel - Archangel of the Peacemakers
SOUTH - Archangel Gabriel - Archangel of the Prophets
NORTH - Archangel Raphael - Archangel of the Healers

All four are in place with the Teacher of Righteousness, hence why this reality is a moral compass for humanity. The tsadiyq is one who remains on the spiritual path and does not waver from it. Jeff Benner states that the path is the course through life which God has outlined for us in his word. However, I would add that it is the implementation of the divine plan and divine purpose of the one that stays on the right path which is also called the Highway to Holiness. So called due to it being the sacred path of healing home to God.

As Prophet Malachi said "But for you who revere my name, the sun of righteousness will rise with healing in its wings. And you will go out and leap like calves released from the stall." One cannot take this passage in isolation from Malachi 4 because in Malachi 3 the prophet talks about the spiritual alchemy of the spiritual alchemist. We have provided a full commentary on this blog on Malachi 3 for further consideration.

Tzadik ("Righteous" person; pl. Tzadikim):

In Jewish philosophy there are 36 Tzadikim that are hidden and 36 that are seen. From the Talmud, Succah 45b: "The world never has less than thirty-six righteous men who receive the Divine Presence every day, for it is said, 'Happy are they that wait lo [for Him]' and the numerical value of 'lo' is thirty-six."[2]

To conclude is the wicked priest a spiritual teacher, healer, peacemaker and a prophet? No and nor do they claim to be.

"Wait for the LORD and keep his way. He will exalt you to inherit the land; when the wicked are cut off, you will see it. I have seen a wicked and ruthless man flourishing like a green tree in its native soil, but he soon passed away and was no more; though I looked for him, he could not be found. Consider the blameless, observe the upright; there is a future for the man of peace. But all sinners will be destroyed; the future of the wicked will be cut off. The salvation of the righteous comes from the LORD; he is their stronghold in time of trouble. The LORD helps them and delivers them; he delivers them from the wicked and saves them, because they take refuge in him."Psalm 37

This is post 320, 320 = diadem-stones (crown jewels). dear, precious; noble, eminent.

After posting the above on the relevant forum God said "This is the indictment".

Following on from the above and posting it in the internet community another prophecy was fulfilled. The wicked priest written about did assume the position of spokesperson for the whole internet community where he resides. We asked him who elected you to speak on their behalf? He could not deny the facts or the criteria.

1. They stand against Israel.
2. They stand against the LORD God of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob.
3. They stand against the teacher of righteousness
4. They use the name TRUTH.
5. They assumed a position.

We hope now that this prophecy is fulfilled that God will help him to make a breakthrough bearing in mind it was all part of the divine plan to fulfill the prophecy. It is the appointed time, it is the end and we did run with it exactly as it was predicted that we would.

After that God said "Shema" and Shema means 'Hear' in other words he hears me and what is being asked.

Thank you Father.

Eliakim said...

When the LORD called the solar eclipse the RAIN MAKER earlier in the year I had no idea that it was connected to the teacher of righteousness. However, now it makes a lot of sense bearing in mind that the Star of David appeared on the eclipse.

This is from the Jewish Virtue Library website.

Or Joel 2:23, "rejoice in the Lord, your God; for He giveth you the former rain in just measure" – et ha-moreh li-ẓedakah, which has sometimes been translated "teacher of righteousness".

God never ceases to amaze me.

And without which they will not grasp instruction until there stands up one who teaches righteousness [yoreh ha-ẓedek] in the latter days" (CD 6:8–11). If the section in which these words appear is of the same date as the other passages quoted, then the community evidently expected at the end-time either another teacher of righteousness to arise or else the first Teacher of Righteousness to return to earth – in the latter case a comparison may be made with the similar expectation of the return of Elijah cherished in other Jewish circles.

Those among the nations who are called upon in Habakkuk 1:5 to wonder and be astonished at the work which God is about to do, which they "will not believe though it be told," are the unfaithful ones who paid no heed to the words which the Teacher of Righteousness spoke from the mouth of God, refusing to believe "when they hear all that is [coming upon] the last generation from the mouth of the priest into [whose heart] God put [wisdom] to interpret all the words of his servants and prophets" (1Qp Hab. 2:7–9). This is in line with what is already known about the Teacher's mission from the Zadokite Admonition. The Teacher understood the course of future events by divine illumination: on Habakkuk 2:1ff. the commentator states that "God commanded Habakkuk to write the things that were coming on the last generation," but did not inform him when the epoch would be fulfilled. And as for the words, "so he may run who reads it," their interpretation concerns the Teacher of Righteousness, to whom God made known "all the mysteries of the words of His servant the prophets" (1Qp Hab. 7:1–5). The words of the prophets remained mysteries (razim), even to the prophets themselves, until the interpretation (pesher) was revealed to the Teacher; after that, the mysteries were mysteries no more, at least to those who heard and believed him. Of them the words of Habakkuk 2:4 ("the righteous shall live by his faith") were spoken: "Their interpretation concerns all the doers of the law in the house of Judah, whom God will save from the house of judgment because of their toil and their faith in the Teacher of Righteousness" (1Qp Hab. 8:1–3).

All I can say is Glory be to God...
