Kirpan - Ceremonial Dagger

The Kirpan, a ceremonial dagger that is usually concealed is a religious icon worn by some Sikhs and it is banned in some countries. The right for a student to wear a kirpan in school was upheld in the Surpeme Court of Canada. However, there have been various incidences of violence with the use of the kirpan. [1]

This is the 21st century, yet we are still allowing children to carry weapons in the name of religion. The human right of religious beliefs even though some of those religious beliefs can be detrimental to humanity in more ways than one. Religion being man made is really a private matter and not a pubic one. As such one should not be able to find that which can harm children in our schools or wherever children can be found.

Americans campaign to keep their guns and the Sikhs campaign to keep their ceremonial swords. However, the Sacred Cows of beliefs are being brought into the light of day from wherever they stem, and many stem from India, God bless it.

In the religion of the Sikhs one must become a Saint then one becomes a Soldier. One can appreciate and understand this if one considers that the soldier in this context is the equivalent to a Spiritual warrior.
However, how many Sikhs are actually Saints? Show me the Saints that live a saintly life.

When the Saint is a healer they come to know that the Spiritual Warrior that is inherent in the soul due to past life memories must also must be healed. Then there is no requirement for the soldier/spiritual warrior because one becomes a Master of realities instead.

In my experience the Sikhs like other Indians are generally a peaceful people and I have found no violence in the ones that I have met. However, it is very important to note that we are the sacred temple of God and does God require daggers and knives in his temple?

Certainly not. Violence disempowers the soul and vexes the Spirit of God. Those that truly stand with God in the Kingdom of God require no weapons of violence or ceremonial daggers.

Those of all true light and goodness, who have broken their karmic cycles are led to safety out of harms way, if people are in harmonic concordance with their own souls and the will of God.

May the words of the prophets truly come to be.

"He will judge between many peoples and will settle disputes for strong nations far and wide. They will beat their swords into plowshares and their spears into pruning hooks. Nation will not take up sword against nation, nor will they train for war anymore." Micah 4:3

May the will of God be done

Today, the 13th of April is the 'Day of Iconoclast'.

Glory be to God
