The Sculptor - Constantin Brancusi

Yesterday, I tried to do a double check for the spelling of the word EXPERIENTIAL,  instead of the word coming up, a page on CONSTANTIN BRANSCUSI came up on my screen instead. When I saw the photograph of the man, I did feel that it is a previous incarnation of a man that I know, because the picture and his energy does feel like him.

The Sculptor

Constantin was Romanian, he was born on the 19th of February, 1876. That would make him an Aquarian. He died on the 16th March 1957 in Paris. Three years after I was born. He was considered to be a pioneer of modernism in the world of the art of sculpture. He created many wonderful works and they include the 'The Sleeping Muse, The Kiss, Bird in Space and The Column of the Infinite sometimes called the Endless Column.

He came from a poor family and when he was a child, he herded the sheep. He began to demonstrate a talent and passion for carving wood. It is written that he ran away from home to escape the bullying of his father, that was often the case in those times.

His life took many twists and turns, until the day came when an industrialist sponsored him to develop his art. He received academic training in his ART, that he loved and adored, he worked hard and soon became a talent, that shone out like a light in the world. People were attracted to him, and what he was portraying in a new way.

It is written, that his efforts were to REVEAL ESSENCE  rather than simply copy, outward appearance of his subject matter. After he led the Rodin Studio after two months, it is reported that he said 'Nothing can grow under big trees'.

To a certain extent that is true. The object of a big tree like an OAK Tree, is to give birth to ACORNS of LOVE so that they may grow into their own big trees. Of course, the birds also find shade and protection in the Trees, and they like to build their nests in TREES to defend their young and keep them safe from predators.

Constantin, carved in wood. However, he also worked with bronze. The Sleeping Muse is truly beautiful and his art must have been revolutionary at that time. This was the time of the Bohemians after all, and in that era, the Bohemians became fashionable in the art world,  just like the Hippies did in the 60's.

The Sleeping Muse
His interests varied from Science, Music, Cooking and Mythology. A Saint like social visionary, almost an ascetic, with a deep spiritual nature. Apparently, he was also an excellent Violinist and sang songs from his native Romania. He had many friends in the ART world, and Picasso is mentioned amongst them.

He was so talented, that he could turn his hand to everything that he chose too. It is written that his world view, valued "differentiating the essential from the ephemeral'. With Plato, Lao-Tzu and Milarepa as influences.

When Constantin died, he left an amazing LEGACY for humanity, of 1200 photographs and 215 sculptures. Sadly, the Romanian Communist government refused his work, so he donated part of his collection to France instead.

2011 is his 135th birthday and it is being commemorated by Google. Is that why the page came up? Or did Abba wish for me to share this with you? You decide.

A few more of his quotes:

"There are idiots who define my work as abstract; yet what they call abstract is what is most realistic. What is real is not the appearance, but the idea, the essence of things."

"Don’t look for mysteries; I bring you pure joy."

"Work like a slave; command like a king; create like a god."

No coincidence that we have been talking about past lives today.

ROMANIA

The only contact that I have had with ROMANIA, is nearly a decade ago. Some spiritual Romanians that were into Angels contacted me. We planned for me to go there to help the Romanian children and tried to raise money to pay for the trip. However, people did not make any donations, to enable myself and a team of healers to go to help the children.

However, we did donate some healing meditation CD's for the children. Sadly, due to technology, we lost contact with each other. Hopefully, one day we will find each other again.

Love beyond measure to the Children of Romania,

I hold you in my heart.
