1066 keeps being brought to my attention and I felt compelled to check it out.
What do you know the number 9/11 crops up. It is written that the Norman conquest was the last time time that England was successfully defeated and it all began in 911.
The French ruler at that time 'Charles the Simple' allowed the Vikings to settle in Northern France with the idea that the Vikings would defend his crown. No coincidence then that Prince Charles will be crowned King of England in four years time when the Queen retires.
Just like 9/11, the events that took place are written to be filled with treachery, deception and intrigue. However, the similarities of what is going on now with cultural genocide is like a repeat performance. The Normans adapted to the indigenous culture, did away with the peoples spirituality, intermarried and converted people to Christianity. [1]
It was all about moving the power base, Normandy was a feudal state based on giving land in return for military service. The one known as 'William the Bastard' basically hired mercenaries to do his dirty work. He took the crown of England, government, culture, language and law changed. [2]
They removed the English aristocracy from their lands and replaced it with foreigners. Of course when the Normans took over, women suffered the consequences due to the lack of human rights.
Now it is not funny that they called the eldest son of Princess Diana, William. He is a very nice young man and so is his brother Harry, they are so much like their mother in so many ways.
However, we cannot ignore the fact that England is being invaded as is the rest of Europe. People are being used like chess pieces in a power shift because they cannot control the people without religion. If the educated land and gentry haven't woken up yet, they sure as well should before they are stripped of everything.
