LADY TA-HATHOR

Earlier today, Abba said 'EGYPTIAN MUMMY ' loudly. Egyptian mummy to me is QUEEN MUT, divine mother of Egypt who is the equivalent of the Holy Mother known in the West.

However, what else do we have on Egyptian mummies that he is wishing to bring to our attention? LADY TA-HATHOR, estimated to be 2,500 years old as been housed in a Colchester (England) museum since 1871.

"She was donated to the then Colchester Museum by George H. Errington from Colchester. Mr Errington had chartered a boat to sail up the Nile in 1856 and while at a cemetery in Luxor, Egypt, bought the mummy for seven sovereigns. Previous X-rays have shown she had a full set of teeth but they came loose on her journey to Britain." [1]

In June this year it was reported that she had gone through a CT scan at a local private hospital (The Oaks) and they found some strange bones.

"The skull of an ancient Egyptian mummy in Colchester is packed with 'strange bones', a CT-scan has revealed. The scan on 2,500-year-old Lady Ta-Hathor yesterday also revealed an odd bundle between her thighs, thought to be the remains of her organs.
Full results from the scan, made ahead of Ta-Hathor's display at Ipswich Museum's new Egyptian Gallery, are expected only after an assessment by a team in Manchester. Yet it immediately showed she was healthy with no bone defects, and had died of natural causes aged in her mid-twenties - not far off the era's life expectancy of 30. Ta-Hathor's heart had been placed back in her body, a vital step on her journey to the afterlife.
Yet the mysterious bones inside Ta-Hathor's skull will be of most interest to experts including Caroline McDonald, curator of archaeology at Colchester and Ipswich Museums. "It appears as if the skull cavity has been packed with linen," says McDonald. "There are some strange bone fragments in the skull that we can’t currently account for and we hope experts will be able to reveal this particular secret."

"There does appear to be a bundle of some description between (Ta-Hathor's) thighs which may be a parcel containing her other organs such as the lungs and intestines," adds McDonald. "In early Egyptian history these were placed in separate containers known as canopic jars but later they were simply wrapped and placed back in the body. Again, analysis will confirm this for us." [2]

Then after examining a single mummy, scientists claim "Cancer is purely man made say scientists after finding almost no trace of disease in Egyptian mummie" [3] It does make one wonder sometimes. The medical profession are already aware that 85% of all disease is stress related, nothing new, it links in with the spiritual law and those that transgress it. Egyptians were well informed about the spiritual law and St Jerome referred to the Egyptians and the law in his letters.

However, archaeologists also claim that 2,500 years ago the lifespan of an Egyptian was 30 years and as we know a majority of people live way past that age modern day.

What else do we have on HATHOR?

A hymn to Hathor says:
Thou art the Mistress of Jubilation, the Queen of the Dance, the Mistress of Music, the Queen of the Harp Playing, the Lady of the Choral Dance, the Queen of Wreath Weaving, the Mistress of Inebriety Without End.

A goddess of JOY,  deeply loved and appreciated by women that she inspired. In her capacity as wife, mother and lover,  she gained the titles of Lady of the House of Jubilation, and The One Who Fills the Sanctuary with Joy. Many children were named after her.

A past life? It feels so.

No surprise then that Abba was singing LADY to me earlier this week.

Author David Lawson, 'The Eye of Horus' also wrote that in
some Egyptian stories it is Hathor that is the mother of Horus
and not Isis. It is possible that her connection to Horus pre-dates
the Osiran myth where Isis is the central figure. Hathor the great
mother defender of those that she loves and nurtures, her tree
is the ancient Sycamore.

As mentioned previously, when speaking to Egyptologists in Egypt,
they confirm that Queen MUT is the equivalent of Divine Mother,
not Isis and in 2001, they were quite indignant about it.
