Church disinvestment in NEWSCORP

Divine justice is sweet when justice is done. Too many have suffered at the hands of Newscorp, my own family included. Today, it feels like the Berlin wall is coming down all over again, brick by brick, with joy in our hearts, a smile on our faces and a spring in our step.

The latest news on Newscorp is that the Church of England's investment fund has demanded the sacking of senior NI managers with immediate disinvestment in the entire Newscorp group as a sanction. The reporter Paul Mason, Economics editor, of Newsnight states "that it as been as a result of the interplay between social media responses and the mainstream television networks that toppled the giant."

The getty image being shown with the caption is thus:

"The SCUM Gotcha". 'Though you can make money it is harder to manufacture consent'. [1]

Now you may well ask how is, that the Church of England as money to invest in stocks and shares in the first place? The Church will tumble in the same way as Newscorp and the Prince of Saudi with it.

Enough, really is enough.

Does the Church have the consent of the people to gamble the money of the people on the stock markets?

No

Does the Church have the consent of the people to be money changers?

No

Do the Church have the authority of the LORD God to be investors in the money markets?

No

Do the Church have the authority of the LORD God?

No

Does the Prince of Saudi have the consent of the people to gamble with their oil wealth?

No

Does the Prince of Saudi have the consent of the people to invest their oil wealth on the stock markets?

No

Does the Prince of Saudi have the authority of the LORD God to be investors in the money markets?

No

Does the Prince of Saudi have the authority of the LORD God?

No

May the will of God be done.
