High Priest of Gandhara?

These amazing sculptures are dated 3rd century. Hadda is a Greco-Buddhist archeological site located in the area that was known as Gandhara. It is near the Khyber Pass, Afganistan. In addition to the figures, scholars state that the oldest surviving Buddhist manuscripts dating to the 1st century CE. were also found here. They are currently held by the British Library. Does the man on the left look like one known as Jesus Christ to you? Who is the man with him?

This is a map of the area as at 600BC, I have featured it, because the LORD has given me the date of 603BC, and the place name of Kabul in the past, (both featured on this blog at the time) and that would link in well with the ancient kingdom and civilization that was there at that time.

My view is that Hadda is mentioned by Prophet Zechariah in chapter 12 when he mentions Hadad-rimmon. Hadad means 'Mighty' and Hadad-rimmon would then mean 'Mighty of the Pomegranates'.
In Spanish Hadda means 'Noble Spirit' and in Arabic Rummon also means pomegranate.

"Wherein is fruit, the date palm and pomegranate .Which is it, of the favors of your Lord, that ye deny?" [Surah LV ,Verse 68] [5]

In spiritual symbology the pomegranate is one of the three blessed fruits in Buddhism. In Judaism, the pomegranate is to do with the robes of the priesthood. In the Song of Songs it states 'If the pomegranates are in bloom— there I will give you my love." Jewish tradition also teach that it is a symbol of righteousness.

If you view the Arabic text and what Islamic scholars write,  they only speak of it in terms of a fruit.

They completely ignore the importance and understanding of spiritual
symbology.

As such, they ignore the fact, that their prophet was being reprimanded for denying the Lord.

There is also a difference between Lord and LORD.

Zechariah 12 is about the destruction of the enemies of Israel that come to be, when the LORD pours out his Spirit of Grace and supplication on the house of David and Jerusalem. The Spirit of Grace was poured out on the house of David in England prior to the mission to Israel in 2006.

The prophecy in Zechariah 12 states:

"On that day the weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping of Hadad-Rimmon in the plain of Megiddo."

My view of this chapter is that it is talking about both the past and the present. In other words it is about people repeating what they have done before, and how that creates the wars. The weeping in Jerusalem will be as great as the weeping for the mighty of the pomegranates. The mighty of the pomegranates being the mighty of the High priests. Fruit is also to do with the prophets and the sign of the fruit, was one of the signs given for the last days of the end times in the NT. You will notice that the man on the left as some hair on top shaped like the fruit.

The juice from the seeds of the pomegranate, is also the color of blood, so once again it is to do with the abundance of seeds that have grown during its life. It is sacred in many cultures and has medicinal properties, as such it does relate to healing. A fruit of life, packed full of abundance, and regeneration.

In Persian mythology, a person that eats a pomegranate becomes invincible. I'm smiling now because I was very fond of them as a child and my parents would purchase them for me. To have lived through what this vessel lived through, and still be standing to tell the story, is a miracle in itself. Thank the LORD God for his compassionate action, and sending his Son to walk with me.

"One who loves a pure heart and who speaks with grace will have the king for a friend." Proverbs 22:11 Truly blessed, no coincidence that verse as two master numbers.

ISRAEL

The plain of Megiddo can be viewed from Mount Carmel and the whole of Northern Israel was fired at with missiles in May 2006. Including Nazareth. Jerusalem has certainly done a lot of weeping since it was created, and since 2006.

Many orthodox Jewish people denied the real high priest that was sent to help them. The Lute of Lovingkindness that was given as a new revelation to King David in Psalm 92. Did he leave Israel and go to Gandhara? Is that why they cried when he left Israel in ancient times?

Prophet Isaiah also understood grace and how people respond to it, only the wise truly understand.

"But when grace is shown to the wicked, they do not learn righteousness; even in a land of uprightness they go on doing evil and do not regard the majesty of the LORD." Isaiah 26:10

A High Priest is not selected by man, they are chosen by the LORD. The fruit on their robes is symbolic of their good deeds, for which they were chosen to do the will of the heavenly Father. Also interesting that in Buddhism, Maitreya means Lovingkindness.

Do the Buddhist texts in London provide more information about the mystery?

"The fragmentary birch bark scrolls, which were found inside one of a set of inscribed clay pots, are written in the Gandhari Prakrit language and in Kharosthi script. Dating from around the beginning of the Christian era, the scrolls are probably the oldest Buddhist manuscripts ever discovered." [3]

Everyone seems to be traveling around at the moment.

This is one of the responses that I have received and it feels appropriate to post.

Just a quick email to let you know that I travelled in that area AND Kashmir before all the trouble started (some 25 years ago) and I found that there are local stories about a Foreign Holy Man (not Indian or Oriental) visiting that area. – It was also observable that a number (not all) of the people in that area look more Jewish than say Indian or Tibetan.

There have also been several books over the years claiming that ‘Jesus Lived in India’ and Jesus the Missing Years,............etc. etc.

It’s quite possible that a number of Jews (maybe early Christians) fled to that area. – It is also worth noting that the word Kashmir in free translation means Paradise.
