Voodoo Festival New Orleans

It was in 2009 that the LORD God spoke about Halloween in respect of the USA. [1] What can one say about New Orleans and what it calls its 'Voodoo Celebration'.

"The mayhem came at the culmination of one of the busiest fall weekends for New Orleans hotels, which were chockablock with guests attending the Voodoo Festival or celebrating Halloween.
"Halloween is something we really market as a visitor attraction," said Kelly Schulz, a spokeswoman for the New Orleans Convention and Visitors Bureau."
And they wonder why there are 2 dead and 14 injured. The press report speaks of a 'Culture of Violence' and specifically mentions a child of five that said 'I hate police'. Is it really any wonder when children see news reports of violence from police against the people?

Is it really any surprise when children have grown up in a nation that is a culture of violence? In thought, word and deed on their TV screens, in their cinema's and on the internet.

The last thing that anyone should be doing on the 31st of October is going out on the streets.

In the case of this shooting we have the combination of 'Halloween and Voodoo', that is certainly a cocktail that is stronger than Bourbon Street, and people have the audacity to say that giving people a self healing book is irresponsible.

Goodness gracious me, whatever next.

What nation or city in its right mind and heart celebrates Voodoo events?

Remember what happened to Haiti, remember what happened to New Orleans with Katrina. Then you have a Church there that people refer to as the 'Murder Board Church' because it lists the people who have been killed.

"At an All Saints Day Mass Tuesday night at St. Anna's Episcopal Church, which some refer to as the "murder board church," the Rev. William H. Terry read the names of all the people who have been killed in New Orleans since last year's All Saints Day. A tally is kept on the walls outside the church. Tuesday morning's victims, Albert Glover and Joshua Lewis, were among the names called out as a bell tolled"

"If the public wants to quell the violence, it should "start with little kids," Terry said."

Oh great put full responsibility onto the babies instead of the police, the Church, and city, taking responsibility for their co-creation.

A police spokeswoman said "Disputes quickly escalate into gunplay'.

What does that tell you? Lack of self-control, lack of self-discipline. What is the US government showing the people? The same, its a co-creation. American state departments expect the children and parents to have the self-discipline that they do not demonstrate. State leaders have to lead by example.

Self-discipline comes to be when people are masters of the self. So what do they do with repeat offenders? Do they teach them martial arts so that they can become masters of the self in self discipline? Do they teach them about the energy that martial artists learn about? Do they help these young men to put their energy into something positive that can help their local communities instead of harm them?

We have a culture of youth around the world that is growing up in a culture of unemployment, and long term that is not going to improve. The old world is passing away, and the world as you have known it, will be no more.

Can Americans help these young ones with their existing system and way of doing things?

Clearly not.

Even drug takers and dealers can be redeemed. It is a proven fact.

"Love heals the world and compassionate action changes it. Healing is the get out of jail card. Healing is the path to salvation and love is the way". from Sacred Words

My heart goes out to these young ones that are living in a throwaway society that does not value them, and because governments do not value them, these youth put no value on life itself. When humanity lack true values, then life itself ceases to have value. When life ceases to have real value, it destroys itself, because the purpose of living on this planet is to value it and the self, 'the meaning of life is to work out the meaning of life.' from Sacred Words.

In my experience, the more that people heal themselves, the more they find out what their divine purpose for being is.
