Chanukah Unity in the Light

Today, Chanukah begins on the 20th and it lasts for eight days. The Jewish festival of the lights. Its wonderful that this year it comes at a time when Christians are also lighting their candles and trees.

One can view the tree as the tree of life, that is filled with the light of life. I remember when I was a child and we didn't have much money and we couldn't afford a tree. So my parents found an amazing branch with many branches, My mother painted it white, dressed it with cones that she also decorated. Then she added the lights that she already had to the tree. It was the prettiest tree, and the only one in the home that stands out in my memory.

Even has a child, her originality had an impact on me, I noticed how quickly she would adapt, and be frugal, how the motto of Sophia was always there. 'Where there is a will, there is always a way'  She was very good with her hands and could make things look lovely, she was very creative, although that special creative and inventive talent that she had, was really only used in her private life with her family and to help others. Although she used to love it when she was working in retail and she was enlisted to do the window dressing of the shops. Mum was definitely the creative one, although Dad liked to write romantic poetry to her, compelled by his heart to show her his love in every way possible.

Mum strived to be perfect in material life and I rebelled against it, I was more like Dad the RAB, and Sophia, material things were not important to us. People always came first. However, Mum's creativity certainly had a huge impact on creativity being a large part of my life on this planet. So has a dear friend from Israel used to say 'Have a creative day'.

Its great that the two festivals unite this year, in my humble view it is a sign of the unity that is being co-created. As Prophet Ezekiel predicted the tribes of Judah and Joseph would become one stick. One can view it as the Jewish people and the Christians being united in the flame of Joseph, the Harp of Faithfulness who shares the love, compassion and mercy of the Lute of Loving Kindness.

Two different revelations at two different times fulfilled. The May 2006, holy gathering in Israel was called the day of unity.

The unfettered flame of the LORD's enduring love that he sent to help the USA, Israel, Italy, Greece, Egypt, Spain and the children of the nations. The power of love, the light of the flame that cannot ever be blown out.

I love you all so much, let it be a time of forgiveness.

Caring fully for children, children first in honor of the LORD, the creator.

Loving them beyond measure

This reality has been overwhelming at times. However, we can say we did our best.
