Operation Icarus and Tug-of-War

A poster remarked that the action of Comet Lovejoy reminded them of Icarus flying to close to the sun, only this time he was successful.

Those that know about Greek mythology will be aware of the story of Icarus. Icarus reminds me of the mission to Greece and while I was there I was staying close to a city square where there was a large sculpture of Icarus. I spoke to the locals about it at the time, they told me that there had been protests about it due to what it meant symbolically. However, while there I blessed and prayed in the area. In the photograph of it you will also see the willow trees and willow is a symbol of the Bodhisattva of compassion and mercy,  a patron of children. Might you ask yourselves what is stronger? The metal sculpture or the blessed willow trees that can move gracefully in the direction of the winds?

In the book of Leviticus we are advised to take the branch of the willow tree and rejoice before your LORD for seven days. Is that why Nostradamus predicted that there would be a new reign for 7,000 years? 

Operation Icarus is Europol's police operation that targeted paedophiles, the news report was covered in the Daily Mail. Police have arrested 112 people in 22 European countries involved in child pornography and 'extreme on-line videos'. The operation was led by a man from Denmark and these are the EU countries that were involved as a result of the year-long operation.

Austria, Belgium, Bulgaria, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Ireland, Italy, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, Spain, Sweden, Croatia, Norway and Switzerland. [2] 


That is the second time that the Netherlands have been in the news this week to do with children. The BBC also shared a case in Holland to do with the Catholic Church and what has been going on in institutions since 1945. It does make one wonder when will Europol take action against the Church? [3] The LORD said 'There is a tug-of-war'. 


It is written that tug-of-war was once a royal sport practiced in Ancient Egypt and China where it was a legend that the the Sun and Moon played Tug-of-War over the light and darkness. Archeological evidence shows that the tug-of-war was also popular in India in 12th century AD. 


'The Oxford Dictionary states that the phrase "tug of war" originally meant "the decisive contest; the real struggle or tussle; a severe contest for supremacy". Only in the 19th century was it used as a term for an athletic contest between two teams who haul at the opposite ends of a rope'. 


As we know the Dead Sea Scrolls also talk about the Sons of Light -v- the Sons of Darkness being equally matched, and the predictions foretold that it was only by divine intervention that the Sons of Light would win. 


I have just noticed for the first time in that picture, outside where I used to have lunch, there is a scarab beetle co-created by the markings in the road. The scarab is a sacred symbol in Egypt, and Kings and Queens wore it as a symbol of wealth and power. In the ancient pictographs it meant 'to come into being', 'to become'. 'Transformation', 'happening'. A statue at Karnac Temple, Egypt. 

Also on the wooden pole on the right of the photograph there is the X in a circle. That is the ancient pictograph of the basket. The 22nd letter of the Hebrew alphabet. The Tet that became T. In Greek it became Theta. In Egypt, the symbol was symbolic of the soul and a good spirit, it had the value of 9. 


The number 9 is also to do with children and the covenant that was delivered for them on 999 by the Messenger of the Covenant. The everlasting covenant predicted by Prophet Isaiah.
