Verse of the Day

After reading what the scientists are predicting in response to the animals of the planet dying, and what the geomagnetic fields are showing them. I checked into biblegateway to look at a verse that Christians are quoting in regard to dinosaurs.

Anyway, as soon as I arrived, this important passage is the 'Verse of the Day.'

"Finally, be strong in the Lord and be strong in his might. Put on the full armor of God, so that you will be able to stand against the schemes of the devil'.

And that follows on from Abba calling out ELINOR, featured in the previous post. It sounds like he is getting us ready now for the final onslaught. That verse is in Ephesians 6:10-11.

The word translated in the bible for God in this verse from the Greek is actually THEOS, original word qeo/v and it means god or goddess. It is a general name for deities and divinities.

Remember in Psalm 82,  it clearly states 'You are gods'.  In my humble view, the Greek word theos is really like the Hebrew word elohim, elohim are inter-galatic beings, as we all are.

So the translation could just as well read 'Put on the full armour of god/goddess so that you will be able to stand against the schemes of the devil'. At the same time be strong, in the Lord (that can also be a feminine term in Hebrew). Check out this link because it can make a difference to your understanding of the texts. [1]

Now who and what is the devil?

In Greek the word for devil is 'Diabolos' and it means a person that is prone to slander, makes false accusations about others, opposes the cause of God. So we are talking about a 'person' or 'people' that do that; by standing against the holy ones that are sacred to God. If you cross reference that with the book of Daniel, it mentions the Saints in this context, and the end of their suffering due to the actions of the ancient of days.

I haven't studied the whole chapter, because it was that specific verse that had been selected as the 'Verse of the Day'.

However, it is clear that wearing the armor of the god/goddess is going to be that which defends you, from what is coming next from those that are scheming against you, to defeat you.

Onwards and upwards.

After I made the above post, Christ sounded excited, and he said 'By Easter, we're moving into awesomeness'.

Easter is the 24th of April and we will make a different post about that. It is also the 'Day of Protection'.
