First Lady Eleanor Roosevelt
Following on from the post 'Eleanor Rigby, the Prophetic Warning' from the Beatles. [1] This post is about a different ELEANOR, although they do both have something in common, and that is their passion for human rights, compassionate action, simplicity and smiling eyes.
October 11 1884 - November 7 1962
The name Eleanor Roosevelt as been given to me a few times in recent weeks. Eleanor was a First Lady of the USA. She did wonderful work during her life, especially to do with human rights. President Truman called her 'First Lady of the World' due to her human rights achievements, she worked with the committee at the UN who developed the declaration of human rights. The declaration of human rights, article 19 as been close to my heart in recent decades.
The First Lady Eleanor, was a Libran and her energy will be felt a lot at this time due to us being in the Saturn in Libra transit.
Some of the words spoken about her really resonate with my heart.
"who would rather light a candle than curse the darkness."
It is a great honor to honor her here on this blog.
